Very friendly resort to stay for a relaxing break

Very friendly staff nice cozy rooms with privacy and close to the beach . Perfect location if catching the catermaran to the main land

Wonderful

The resort was beautiful laid out, lovely gardens. The rooms very nice with lots of attention to detail. On a quiet part of the beach virtually next to the pier.

The restaurant had virtually no vegetarian food and for a longer stay without a scooter you might have felt s bit cut off but that said a lovely place to stay

Perfect for a short turnaround before going to Koh Tao

We have only been there for one night but we can say that the bedroom and the bathroom were very clean. The beach is also very nice and you can eat your breakfast while having a nice view at the ocean. It is just a view meters away from the ferry station to koh pangan and koh tao, which was very practical when you plan just to stay for one night in Koh Samui before heading to the smaller islands.

The running hot water in the shower was not working properly but of course you have to lower your expectations while being one an island. So it’s no big deal.

Great hotel for relaxing on Koh Samui

It‘s a tranquile hotel with a nice pool and direct beach access. The huts are very comfortable and clean. They feel like your own house. There were no bugs inside. The hotel is also a 3 minute walk from the pier from which you can take the ferry to other islands. The hotel staff is very friendly and there are nice restaurants nearby.

The restaurant served mediocre food in small portions and relatively high prices. Also, the beach entry is a bit steep.

Wonderful

Beachfront hotel, with good service and helpful staff. Breakfast was great and the room was big

the pool was a bit dirty and we didn't see someone to clean it. Our room was far from the pool and the beach, but as we understood, they don't have family rooms by the pool. The room was too big for one airconditioner. One part of the room was always too cold

Nice gardens, great staff that were very accommodating. The room itself was clean. Nice clean beach and pool

I've just found that I've experienced getting more for my money in Thailand. The AÇ was quite poor, considering it was a turbo cooler. They did send someone to clean it out, in which it did improve, but those sleeping on the other side of the room remained hot and clammy. The site was a lot bigger than I first imagined, and having a young child with us, I was hoping for somewhere closer to a pool. This I was informed couldn't be made possible because I'd arranged for an extra bed. Which is all fine, but I would have chosen differently if I had done my homework beforehand (my bad)

Very Good

In general, I have no comments about the resort. What I liked most was the silence on the beach and the calmness. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is okay, maybe I expected more fruit options (only three types of fruit available). The bungalow is large and pleasant.

The bed or mattress could be replaced. I would also loved if they whould have coffee machine.

Very calm and private

Very friendly personnel and calm place. The hotel has a private beach and we liked it! Massage at the hotel was super good and relaxing! We had a cozy environment. Besides,there is a Harbor next to the hotel,where you can take a boat to Ko Tao Island!

The bathroom is old and seemed to be not so clean. It can be improved. The restaurant did not have a lot of food which is suggested in the menu. The breakfast is also very basic. However,the omlet was super delicious!

Good Resort, value for money and would stay there again.

Staff were really fantastic here. The lady at reception was super helpful and went out of her way to help us at all times. Rooms were big, spacious and clean. Well kept and everything worked. The gardens were tidy and resort had a nice feel to it. Beach was great - tidy and clean and water around the area very nice to swim in.

The staff at the pool bar / restaurant were not always the best. I imagine it is difficult to deal with the so many tourists all the time but that is the industry you are in. Breakfast was ok - not highly rated. Pool itself was not that great - understand it takes a lot of chlorine to keep it clean with so many people in and out. Resort is located right on end of the "Pinnacle" and it is quite a distance to travel to any of the main attractions.

Good proximity to Mae Nam village. Reception very helpful.

Some of our party got food poisoning (we assume from the restaurant) and this affected our stay drastically. The pool wasn’t very clean.

What was the highlight of Pinnacle Samui Resort

Very clean and well managed resort with comfortable accommodations. Location is great with a nice beach located at the quiet end of Mae Nam beach. Several restaurants and shops within easy walking distance of the hotel. Very friendly staff. Hotel restaurant was very good with both Thai and western menu options.

Need more sun loungers on the beach. For us non-Europeans that prefer not to get up at 5am to stake claim to multiple beach loungers (and sometimes more than one per person), I had to relegate myself to the poolside loungers. Many of the beach loungers claimed with a towel also went unused for most of the day. A very rude and annoying practice but unfortunately part of the deal when traveling to European visited hotels. Many resorts around the world are now allocating beach loungers by room number so at least a minimum number of chairs would be available to each room.

What was the highlight of Pinnacle Samui Resort

Nice location located directly at the beach next to the pier of lomprayah. The rooms are big, depending on where the building is located on the area it is a 2 minutes walk to the beach. The breakfast was really good. The beach is superb if you want to relax and have a good time. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. It was as a pleasant stay in pinnacle resort.

Aircondition was quite loud in our room, but this is only a small point of complaint. WiFi was quite slow, which is quite annoying for booking next stops or to look for trips on the internet or stay in contact with persons at home.

Loved everything, great location, great yummy food at great prices. Food down road also great. Loved the resident cocky Mook. Tour bookings across road. Very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Hot and cold taps in shower are backwards, so you think you don’t have hit water lol

The hotel is very close to the pier which makes it a good stop over choice for the morning ferry to Koh Tao. The hotel restaurant looks over the beach and is very picturesque. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms are dated and not in the best condition. The bathroom was a bit scruffy and that water pressure is poor.

The breakfast was really good. Fresh scrambled egg or omelette made to order! The pool was a nice addition to the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The local restaurant was one possible alternative to a number of small restaurants in the vicinity. All in all quite relaxed neighborhood. Very close to the Lomprayah Ferry Pier.

We experienced a local electricity blackout that lasted for quite a number of hours and it would be a nice addition to keep the restaurant working by some fallback power supply in those cases (which are probably infrequent anyway). Well, having the WiFi hooked up to this would be an extra bonus :-).

What was the highlight of Pinnacle Samui Resort

Price vs quality very good. The Hotel is very peaceful, green and far from the crowd. Food at restaurant is very good and not expensive, but if you want to eat outside you have a few good restaurants just at few steps away. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We would like to thank to everyone but especially Naomi, she is amazing! You also have ATM machines, travel agencies, massage centers, supermarkets a few meters from the hotel.

Low water pressure but we could handle with it.

The beach and views are out off this world, the massages fabulous, the bungalows are awesome, great staff, just a spit from Mae Nam Pier, few cool restaurants on the road down to the hotel...

Not a whole lot going on in this particular area, taxis or bikes needed to get to the main bit, but if you're looking for a quiet relaxing getaway then no worries. Restaurant wasn't bad but wasn't the best either. Sand is quite coarse, a little painful to walk on. Everything else was incredible though so not really cons per se!

What was the highlight of Pinnacle Samui Resort

Good value for money and a nice location. Suited our four day stay. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Although the resort apologised and and was beyond there control there was a temporary electricity generating plant next door to the resort which ran from 12pm to 8.30pm each day which was very noisy. Our room smelt quite musty probably from a bit of mould in the wardrobe. A couple of annoying factors, several stray dogs lived around the beach and strolled around the pool area and beach area sometimes getting into noisy face-offs with dogs from neighbouring packs. The Resort did nothing to deter these dogs albeit they had signs around the resort saying no dogs allowed. Also thought that staff could be a bit more attentive to wiping down the Sun lounges after rain and in the morning and also sweep up a little more regularly around the pool area.
